Our Story: From Perrutribu to Pets Tribe

Perrutribu Costa Rica was born with a fresh idea — a dog daycare and hotel where pets were treated like true members of the family.

For nine years, we became known as one of the best dog hotels in Costa Rica, thanks to our commitment to safety, happiness, and personalized care.

We were featured on national TV and newspapers, and we proudly worked with Dr. Claudia Anffosi, a trusted veterinarian in Sabana Sur, who provided 24/7 support to ensure every pup received the best possible care.

At Perrutribu, we created a warm and home-like environment where dogs could feel safe and loved while their owners were away. We offered cozy little houses, soft beds, and fun play areas. Each day included play sessions and photos so families could see their pets enjoying their stay.

One of our most popular services was PerruTaxi, a pickup and drop-off service that made life easier for our clients.

In 2022, we decided to bring all that experience to Houston, Texas, and that’s how Pets Tribe was born. We started with Mobile Grooming, quickly earning the trust of hundreds of families thanks to our professionalism, comfort, and one-on-one care.

Today, after building a strong mobile operation, Pets Tribe takes another big step with our new location in Katy, TX, offering Dog Boarding and Doggy Daycare designed exclusively for small and medium-sized dogs (up to 35 lbs).

With the same passion, dedication, and high standards that made us a leader in Costa Rica, we continue building a community where every pet is part of our Tribe.
