It is a procedure that must be performed every 6 months or every year depending on your pet’s diet to keep the oral cavity in good health. When it is not done, it can have serious consequences on the health of your pet directly in its mouth or in other organs.
The procedure must be performed under general anesthesia since our patients do not open their mouths when we ask them to. This allows us to work more safely. Cleaning takes approximately 30 minutes and that same day the patient can go home with some indications such as the administration of analgesic and antibiotic.
